Operation Christmas Child

Dear Parents,

In five weeks on November 15, 2013, your child will participate in an Operation Christmas Child
shoebox packing party hosted by HBF. Operation Christmas Child started in 1993 through Samaritan’s Purse, a non- profit organization founded by Franklin Graham. Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has been handing out more than 100 million shoebox gifts to children in Jesus’ name to children all over the world. We hope that you partner with us as we empower our youth with the message of Jesus Christ, and encourage them to invite 3 High School Friends to share the good news at this event.

We also need your help to make this event a success.

This is how it will work: Your child will choose how many boxes they would like to pack (atleast 3 is recommended). Below is an itemized list of what to bring on that day. Please buy the necessary quantity for each box. (For example, if I decide to pack 4 boxes, I would buy 4 toothbrushes- 1 toothbrush for each box). These are gift suggestions, so please do not feel limited by these. For more info, click here.

• Friday, October 18- Shoeboxes (Regular Size shoe boxes, no large ones please!)

• Friday, October 25- Toys! Dolls, Toy Trucks, stuffed animals, kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yos, jump
